Why bring your class to us?
We connect history and IT education through modern teaching approaches. The museum isn't a row of glass cases with labels — it's a visually engaging environment that deepens interest in the past and how it all connects. The exhibition takes students from medieval Prague, the Hussite wars and the age of Rudolf II, through the Thirty Years' War, to the Second World War — the occupation, the assassination of Heydrich, the bombing of Prague and the Prague Uprising — and on through the communist era and its fall to the free-spirited 1990s. History comes alive here as one connected story, not isolated facts to memorize. The audio guide also runs in 6 languages (5 foreign languages plus Czech), so it doubles as a resource for foreign-language lessons or for students from international schools.
Pricing
Group admission for 15 or more: 190 CZK per pupil/student — the same rate applies to elementary schools, secondary schools and gymnázia. Teachers and chaperones enter free.
Who is the program for?
There's no age restriction — the program suits everyone from 1st-grade elementary pupils to secondary school and gymnázium students. Younger pupils (grades 1–3) will get the most out of the first floor, dedicated to the Middle Ages, while older students can experience the full exhibition, including the 20th century.

How it works
Download the Story of Prague app before your visit — it works as a personal audiovisual guide through each floor. Students scan QR codes for more information, unlock interactive scenes at selected exhibits, and complete tasks along the way. You'll need a mobile phone or tablet and your own headphones (headphones can also be borrowed at reception if needed).
How many students can the program accommodate?
By arrangement, we can accommodate any group size.
How long does the program take?
The recommended visit length is 1.5 hours, though the actual length is up to you.
Is there a cloakroom for school groups?
No, there is no cloakroom available.
Can students eat a snack in the museum?
No, the museum isn't set up for eating. There is, however, a rest area on the third floor where students can take a break.
Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
No, it is not.
