Welcome to the world of a unique and educational experience!Our museum represents a new generation of educational environment, ideal for school excursions. On three floors of our museum you will find 19 different rooms and over 25 selected topics from Czech history and the city of Prague.

A unique combination of history and digital technologies

Using modern didactic trends and information technology, we try to connect the teaching of history and computer science. We show pupils and students that historical museums do not have to be just showcases with antique objects, but a visually engaging and interactive environment that, with the help of modern technologies, deepens general interest in the past, supports pupils' active learning and contributes to a better understanding of historical continuity.

We offer schools a discounted entrance fee of CZK 190 per student + free escort

How does it work for us?

Before your visit, download the "Story of Prague" app. The application will act as your personal audio-visual guide to each floor of the exhibition. Pupils also scan QR codes for additional information, use devices for augmented reality functions and perform tasks.

What is needed?
Mobile phone or tablet + your personal mobile phone headphones (or ours can be borrowed at reception). But bring your own headphones for the best experience.

Who is the program suitable for?
For pupils of the second grade of elementary schools, pupils of secondary schools and grammar schools.

How many participants is the program suitable for?
We can accommodate classes of up to 32 pupils at a time.

Is it necessary to make an appointment before visiting?
Yes, email us at museum@stroryofprague.cz with your desired date and time arrival. The recommended time to visit is from 8:30. But the time is by arrangement.

How much does a visit cost?
The price for a student group entrance fee of more than 15 pupils is NOK 190. Free educational support.

How long does the program last?
The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Is there a cloakroom for schools in the museum?
Yes, our staff will help you put away your backpacks and jackets at the entrance.

Is it possible to have a snack in the museum?
No, we are not adapted to consumption.

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
It is not.
